The expansion of the Engineering Department means we are now looking to recruit new Control Systems & IT System Supervisor.
Can you say ‘yes’?...
Can you commit to a 6 weeks on-site, 2 weeks at home rotation, including irregular hours (nights, weekends, and holidays)?
Can you lead and directly supervise multiple contractors, enforcing safe work procedures and resolving issues swiftly?
Can you coordinate design, construction, and commissioning for Control Systems, Utilities, and Piping to keep the plan on track?
Can you ensure quality and compliance with European electrical norms, interpreting E‑PLAN/single-line diagrams, reviewing AutoCAD/Navisworks, and delivering complete as-built documentation?
As Control Systems & IT System Supervisor, you’d be the on-site linchpin who synchronises design, construction and commissioning, leads contractors to deliver safely and on time, ensures quality and compliance, communicates transparently with stakeholders, and keeps a complex project on track under demanding conditions and a 6/2 rotation.
What you’ll be doing:
Critical performance areas include the following items:
• Coordinate the design phases and construction coactivity of the Control Systems equipment.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of Control Systems site activities to ensure construction work on the plant is performed safely and efficiently.
• Check Quality of Works during construction phase and work is done based on design
• Check construction activities are in place in according with planning and performances of contractors
• Enforce safe work procedures and policies
• Coordination between the commissioning and construction team
• Communicate well through periodic reports and reviews with the project team, engineering management, and the customer
• Support the start up
• Deliver the as built documentation

Willing to work a 6‑weeks on site, 2‑weeks at home rotation, including irregular hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:
Supervising construction contractors, directing workflow, appraising performance and resolving issues.
Coordinating design, construction and commissioning for Control Systems, Utilities and Piping.
Reading and interpreting single‑line diagrams, E‑PLAN and functional descriptions; reviewing drawings in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
Applying European electrical norms, electrical installation procedures and construction quality assurance.
Supporting plant start‑up and delivering complete as‑built documentation.
Producing clear site reports for project teams, engineering management and customers; interfacing with senior management.
Planning constructability, keeping schedules aligned and ensuring contractors meet deadlines.
Enforcing safety procedures and responding to unexpected or emergency situations.
Working across office and site environments, including outdoors in varying conditions.
Using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), with additional languages being a plus.
