- What advice would you give new graduates to thrive in their first two years?
My advice to new graduates is to stay curious and ask plenty of questions—not just during trainings or introductions, but also by engaging with people on the production floor, as they have invaluable hands-on knowledge. Additionally, focus on building a strong network within the organization. The more connections you make, the easier it will be to find the right person to help you when you face challenges.
- What does a typical day in your life look like as part of the graduate program?
At the beginning of the program the days are filled with introductions and trainings to build a solid theoretical foundation for our business. Later, you are part of the plant process and quality team, which means that you participate in the daily shopfloor meetings, engage in problem-solving activities and sessions, analyze the production data, and work on background tasks to support improvement projects in the plant.
- What’s been the most exciting experience so far?
My most exciting—and also most challenging—experience so far has been my time at our Malaysian plant. Being a relatively new plant, it presented unique challenges that I wouldn’t have encountered in some of our older factories. This gave me the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on knowledge and problem-solving experience, which I can now capitalize in my current role. Beyond the work itself, I had the chance to immerse myself in a completely different culture, both professionally and personally. Experiencing the local way of life, building connections with colleagues, and adapting to a new environment made it an unforgettable and deeply enriching experience.
