We are now looking for another team member to join us in Marketing as Senior Strategic Marketing Manager, reporting to General Manager Technical Solutions.

The Senior Strategic Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping the marketing strategy, product portfolio, and innovation agenda for Technical Solutions applications at Knauf Insulation. Positioned at the crossroads of product innovation, business intelligence, campaigns, and team leadership, this role focuses on accelerating time-to-market, driving impactful communication and reputation-building initiatives, and establishing a future-ready portfolio that strengthens Knauf’s market leadership.

Beyond marketing & product development management, the role integrates team leadership, digital transformation, and external representation, preparing the candidate for a global leadership track within Knauf Insulation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Innovation
  
  • Lead initiatives to reduce innovation cycle times through streamlined processes.
    
  • Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Manufacturing to integrate new solutions.
    
  • Anticipate market trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes, translating.
  • Develop innovation roadmaps aligned with the dynamics of each segment.
  • Develop business cases for new products and services.
• Commercial Excellence
  
  • Track brand performance, customer adoption, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and segmentation.
  • Translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Create value propositions tailored to specific customer segments and audiences.
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales.
• Product Portfolio Management
  
  • Define and optimize the product portfolio across segments in collaboration with production, operational marketing and sales teams.
  • Integrate low-carbon technical solutions into the innovation roadmap.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with value creation.
• Digital Transformation
  
  • Actively drive digital marketing transformation, ensuring local activation.
  • Harness digital tools to improve efficiency, speed, and customer engagement.
  • Ensure campaigns are data-driven, measurable, and impactful.
• Team Leadership & Growth
  
  • Build, lead, and mentor the marketing team.
  • Set clear objectives and foster accountability.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration.

Travel and Location Requirements:

• Frequent travel (30%) to Knauf Insulation’s European markets and to Technical Solution specialized Hub in Novi Marof – Croatia.

What we’d love for you to have:

Education and Background

• Degree in Marketing, Economics or in Industrial or Construction Engineering.
• Understanding of fire regulations and their application in product development.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, in industry related businesses.
• Experience in Insulation is a plus.
• Experience in marketing research or innovation is mandatory.
• Background in a technical or management consulting role is a plus.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.

Technical skills

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Excellent English, knowledge of Croatian, Italian, German, or French is a plus.
• Digital mindset with an appetite for technology-driven innovation.
• Familiarity with CRM and Business Intelligence tools (Salesforce, Tableau …)

We will provide:

Permanent position and full-time employment in one of our existing KI Technical Solutions locations in Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, France or Italy (most suitable to geographical situation of the selected candidate) with the possibility of Hybrid Work. 

As this is international position, the package and associated benefits will be those of the contract's host country. Our common criterion was to build a comprehensive salary package that stands out in the market.
