The HSEEQ Systems Department is now looking to recruit a new Quality Assurance & Systems Manager in Visé, Belgium and reporting to the KI EMEA & APAC HSEEQ Systems Director.

As a Quality Assurance & Systems Manager, you'd be championing a quality assurance culture by working with colleagues to implement systems that effectively manage quality risks and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Promote a quality-first culture: advocate a strong quality assurance culture, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and no compromise on standards across all actions and processes.
- Develop and implement quality frameworks: lead the adoption of quality assurance frameworks (e.g. APQP), creating procedures, standards, and training to embed these frameworks into divisional quality management systems.
- Conduct risk management and continuous improvement: oversee the development of the maturity of risk assessment processes (e.g. FMEA) to safeguard quality and compliance, while driving improvements in IT systems and cross-functional processes for managing product and system specifications.
- Ensure customer-centric quality processes: coordinate the development of Voice of the Customer processes and market specification confirmations to align product quality with customer expectations.
- Monitor and benchmark performance: identify and track key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to benchmark and improve quality compliance and performance across the division, proposing and leading improvement projects where necessary.
- Foster collaboration and training: work closely with Knauf Group Quality Management, support internal audits, and enhance company skills by defining and delivering quality and compliance training programs.

What we’d love for you to have:
- Working knowledge of relevant ISO standards such as ISO9001 (wider ISO standard knowledge is an advantage)
- Detailed knowledge of the implementation and operation of operational quality processes aimed at confirming customer requirements in quality assurance routines and cultures
- Experience in product testing for performance and a working knowledge of standards testing principles
- Experience in the application of SPC with a working knowledge of relevant IT tools for analysis
- Fluency in English
- Willing to travel for work up to 20-40% of your time
If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:
- Knowledge of French and/or German
- Professional knowledge of statistical process control such as 6 Sigma or APQP is nice to have
- ISO standards auditing experience
