The expansion of the Digital Manufacturing Department means we are now looking for a Product Owner – Industrial Solutions in Visé and reporting to the Digital Manufacturing Director.

As a Product Owner – Industrial Solutions you would lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge industrial solutions for glass and rock wool manufacturing processes. This role focuses on leveraging advanced technologies such as vision systems, model-based control, and other emerging innovations to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and sustainability. You would be responsible for defining product specifications, managing pilot validations, and developing roll-out strategies across multiple plants.
What you’ll be doing:
Product Development and Management
- Define and manage the product roadmap for industrial solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and manufacturing needs.
- Develop detailed product specifications, incorporating advanced technologies such as vision systems, model-based control, and other innovative tools.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of industrial solutions, from ideation to deployment.
Pilot Validation and Roll-Out Strategy
- Lead pilot projects to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions in real-world manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with plant teams to gather feedback, refine solutions, and ensure readiness for full-scale implementation.
- Develop and execute roll-out strategies to standardize solutions across multiple manufacturing plants.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact between plant teams, technology providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to ensure alignment and knowledge transfer.
- Build strong relationships with plant teams to understand their challenges and tailor solutions accordingly.
Technology Integration
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in industrial automation and manufacturing.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing systems and processes.
This position requires extensive travel to collaborate with plant teams and stakeholders, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions tailored to operational needs. Expected business travels is between 25-50% of time.

What we'd love for you to have:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product ownership, industrial automation, or manufacturing process improvement.
- Experience in an industrial setup.
- Knowledge of vision systems, model-based control, and other advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively to manufacturing plants and stakeholder locations.
If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:
- Experience in glass or rock wool manufacturing
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for product development
- Knowledge of an additional language
